Sponsored Walk
Sponsored Walk
On Monday 20th October, pupils and staff at Cowbit St Mary’s took part in a fantastic Sponsored Walk around the school playing field. The event was organised by Friends of Cowbit St Mary's to raise money to help subsidise the cost of trips to our school community.
The sponsored walk was a wonderful way for children to enjoy fresh air, exercise, and teamwork while contributing to an important cause. Thanks to the generosity of families and friends, all money raised will go towards subsidising the cost of school trips throughout this academic year, helping to make these valuable experiences more affordable for parents.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their enthusiasm and determination, and we thank everyone who sponsored and supported the event. Together, we are making a real difference for our school community! The walk raised an incredible £1200 overall with four pupils raising an astonishing amount to support our school community:
Noah who raised a massive £120. Friends of Cowbit St Mary's kindly gifted him a family ticket to the cinema with some chocolates and sweets for his efforts.
Jeanie and Bonnie who each raised an incredible £85, they received a £20 voucher for Tyrrell’s Pick your own Pumpkins.
Sailor who raised a brilliant £80, she was gifted a voucher to the Fun Farm.
