We currently have a vacancy for a Midday Supervisor Assistant

Start date: September 2025

Salary: G2 3-6 £20,441 - £20,678 (FTE) Actual annual salary would be in the region of £3400- £3500 per year

6 hours 15 minutes per week for 38 weeks per year

Term Time only working Monday- Friday

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our small, village school as soon as possible to help provide our pupils with a safe and happy lunchtime experience.  The role of the Midday Supervisor is vital in ensuring that the well-being and health and safety of our children is maintained at lunchtime.

In return, we can offer you a supportive, friendly and professional team together with fantastic children and a lovely, new outside play area. 

The post will include:

  • The care and supervision of pupils during the lunch break
  • Encouraging good behaviour, table manners and social skills
  • Initiating games and activities whilst maintaining supervision of a zone
  • Assisting with tidying the site at the end of each lunchtime
  • Providing First Aid where appropriate

Previous experience would be an advantage, but training will be given. Training will be provided for safeguarding, first aid and basic food hygiene, which will be paid as overtime and outside of working hours.
